Designing an A-BUS System is Easy
You can mix and match any A-BUS module with a power unit to build a system that suits you and your home. Please see the explanation below to work out your requirements based on the most popular A-BUS components.

House Plan Showing A-BUS

‘Wired Only’ Option for New Homes and Extensions
If you don’t need the full music system straight away, you can choose to ‘prewire’ your home to ensure it will be ready for the A-BUS technology of tomorrow. A-BUS pre-wiring can include all major rooms, so no complicated decisions are required upfront. You will be able to install A-BUS components in the rooms you want at a later date.

What’s more, pre-wiring carried out by an authorized LeisureTech dealer receives an A-BUS Certificate of Authenticity. This not only provides you with a record of rooms wired, but also verifies that genuine A-BUS components have been used by an approved installer, assuring you of outstanding performance when all the A-BUS components are installed.

A-BUS Design & Consultation Service
Your local A-BUS dealer will be happy to provide more information to help you make the right choices to suit your lifestyle, both now and in the future. Authorized dealers can provide you and/or your builder, electrician or architect with complete design, consultation and installation services. Also ask your dealer about the wide range of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers available. They stock high performance and great-looking speakers to suit all tastes – at surprisingly affordable prices.

If you already own or are looking to purchase a home theatre receiver, why not consider an A-BUS/READY receiver which is equipped with an RJ-45 A-BUS output socket. Look for the A-BUS/READY logo on the front. That means a simple RJ-45 connection on the back immediately connects you to the whole-house system, as long as the house is wired for A-BUS. Four brands to consider from are Integra, Jamo, Harman Kardon and Cambridge Audio.

A-BUS/READY enables direct connection to either a single A-BUS power module for one extra zone or to an A-BUS hub for multiple rooms in an extra zone.
The A-BUS/READY outlet supplies audio, status and infrared data connection. Some A-BUS/READY receivers can power one power module independently while others require a separate power supply.

Compare these features with other whole house music systems and you’ll see why A-BUS multi-room audio technology is truly revolutionary, making your decision simple!
